Parliamentary Seminar on the Role of Parliaments in the EU Accession Negotiation Process

On 31 March – 1 April 2014, Inter-parliamentary Seminar "ROLE OF PARLIAMENTS IN THE EU ACCESSION NEGOTIATION PROCESS" with the participation of Members of the parliaments from South East Europe EU accession countries and EU member-states and of the European Parliament was held in Sofia.  

The Seminar was jointly organized by the European Parliament and the Regional Secretariat for Parliamentary Cooperation in SEE, with the support of the European Affairs Committees.

The main goal of the Seminar was to fo¿ster the exchange of experience and best practices among the parliaments in the region and the European Parliament in the field of European integration and harmonization of legislation with the EU acquis.
