5th SEECP PA Plenary session, 13-14 April 2018, Ljubljana

On 13-14 April 2018 SEECP Parliamentary Assembly gathered at its 5th Plenary session in Ljubljana, under Slovenian Chairmanship-in- office.

Agenda of the session included:

- Opening speech by the President of the SEECP PA Dr Milan Brglez

- Presentation of the Slovenian SEECP Chairmanship-in-Office by a State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Mr Andrej Logar

- Interventions from regional and international organisations

-Discussion of the Speakers/Heads of delegations on:
SEE4FUTURE: SEECP PA perspective in the light of new geopolitical relations in Europe

- Family photo of the Chairs of the SEECP PA delegations

- Report on the participation of the SEECP PA delegation to the Baltic Assembly and Baltic Council Sessions in Tallinn and on the participation of the SEECP PA delegation to the PABSEC in Kiev by the Chair of the SEECP PA Standing Committee Mr Branko Zorman

- Presentations and adoption of the Reports and Resolutions of the General Committees

- Deadlock concerning the selection of the seat of the permanent Secretariat – the way forward

- Adoption of the Final Declaration and of the Work programme 2018/2019

On 13 of April meetings of the Standing Committee and of the General Committees took place.
