Greece takes over presidency of regional cooperation process from Turkey
1 July 2021
From 1 July 2021 to 1 July 2022, Athens shall assume the Presidency of the Parliamentary Assembly of the South-East European Cooperation Process. For this period Constantine An. Tassoulas, Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, is the new President of SEECP PA.
In his speech to the 8th Plenary session of the SEECP PA, Christos Dermentsopoulos, Deputy Head of the Greek delegation, assured that during their presidency every effort will be made to improve cooperation for the benefit of all SEECP PA countries.
"We need a common vision for the region of South East Europe and we firmly believe that European integration and regional cooperation can go hand in hand" , Dermenzopoulos said.
